Dr. Christiane Northrup
Dr. Christiane Northrup has spent her life as an advocate for women’s health and wellness, first as a practicing physician in obstetrics and gynecology, and now as an internationally respected writer and speaker who teaches women about everything that can go right with their bodies. Her groundbreaking first book, Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom, was a New York Times bestseller and has remained a leading reference on women’s health for 20 years.

Her second book, #1 New York Times bestseller The Wisdom of Menopause (2001, 2011) has helped millions of women embrace the mind/body revolution of the “change” and the tremendous potential that accompanies it. She has been a frequent guest of the Oprah Winfrey show and Ms Winfrey turned to Dr. Northrup for insight when reaching “The Big M.” Dr Northrup’s books which also include Mother Daughter Wisdom, The Secret Pleasures of Menopause, The Secret Pleasures of Menopause Playbook, and the children’s book, Beautiful Girl, have been translated into 24 languages.

A-ma-ta and Menopause

Dr. Northrup writes, “My most fervent prayer is that women all over the world wake up to power, privilege, and pleasure of being a woman.” Her newly launched line of A-ma-ta supplements and beauty products is the latest step in a lifelong mission to inspire women to flourish.
